Judge Registration

Do you have a background in science and wish to help foster an appreciation of science in students from Grades 4 through 12? If so, consider volunteering as a Science Fair Judge on Sunday, April 6. 

There are two types of judging that take place on Sunday:

(1)  As a Divisional Judge for the selection of winning projects in each age division and overall winners who will represent Vancouver Island at the Canada Wide Science Fair.

Divisional Judges are needed on Sunday, April 6 for Round 1 (all projects) and Round 2 (finalists). As a Round 1 judge you will evaluate about 4 projects as part a team. If you choose to also participate in Round 2, you will be asked to evaluate the top projects in an age category. It is an enjoyable and rewarding experience.

(2) As a Specialty Award Judge for specific sponsored prizes (for example, the Victoria Natural History Awards or Rotary Environment Awards).  If you are a member of a sponsor organization and wish to judge for their Specialty Award, please contact:
